Over the next few weeks you will notice a ‘buzz’ around the school, as we introduce
‘Bee a learning hero.’
During their learning the children will be encouraged to:
- work in different ways
- be responsible
- never give up.
Over the school day children and staff will be on the look out for our school’s learning behaviours and celebrate how they apply them into their everyday work.
As a school, we believe that these core skills will help the children to become independent, confident and focused learners: skills that will prepare and support them beyond the classroom.
What a fabulous day we have had! Everyone looked amazing in their costumes; many thanks for all of your hard work putting them together.
We have been working on a range of activities connected to our focus book – The Butterfly Lion. These included: sorting animals into Carroll diagrams; African art; writing diaries as Bertie and even making kites!
Each teacher was impressed with the hard work and enthusiasm of our classes. A MASSIVE well done, everyone!

Can you solve these problems?
Have a go at performing the story to someone at home 😀
Great work today year 3, you thought of some excellent words to write on the sea defence wall.
